The 2025 event will kick off from the splendid Cathedral Square of Voghera, transformed for the occasion into the Podium HAT, where history and adrenaline meet to kick off an extraordinary adventure.

It won't be a simple departure: Dakar riders, official teams of the most important motorcycle manufacturers e famous names in national and international motorcycling will join the participants to experience the unique emotion of the HAT Pavia-Sanremo.

The evening will begin with an exclusive aperitif in the square, accompanied by music and the atmosphere of a great event. From the stage set up on our Iveco truck used as a support vehicle for the Dakar a unique show will come to life: interviews with famous pilots and participants, epic motorcycling stories and exciting anecdotes.

There will be no shortage of surprises for the little ones: children who participate in the evening together with their parents will receive special gifts, making the event a moment of joy and sharing for the whole family.

For participants of the Master Challenge, (one of the 3 categories of route offered to participants of the HAT) the evening will continue with a spectacular departure towards the suggestive Enduro camp “Maginot Line”, where an exciting and technical “night” test will take place, adding a touch of mystery and adrenaline to the beginning of the adventure.

Surrounded by historic buildings and the imposing Cathedral of San Lorenzo, the square will offer a magical atmosphere, where the past and future of motorcycling meet, celebrating the beginning of the HAT Pavia-Sanremo 2025.

A NEW ROUTE: BETWEEN HILLS AND PATHS
After the starting ceremony, the pilots will face an original route that winds through the rolling hills of Oltrepò Pavese, where spectacular landscapes are tinged with the colors of the season and offer a unique natural setting. Dirt roads and mixed surfaces will test the technical skills of the participants, offering an adventurous and engaging experience. Continuing beyond the Oltrepò, the route heads towards some of the most evocative places in the area, crossing the technical sections of the Alta Langa. Here, the hills give way to more challenging slopes and spectacular views, with winding dirt roads that penetrate vineyards, woods and ancient stone villages, offering a challenge immersed in uncontaminated nature.
The first day ends in the late afternoon of Saturday with the arrival in Cairo Montenotte, a small town in the Savona hinterland surrounded by green hills, perfect for recharging your batteries and sharing the emotions of the day.
Sunday morning marks the start of the second stage, which winds along the stony roads and woodland paths of the Ligurian Apennines. Here, the route becomes wilder and more evocative, leading the riders through the Colle di Nava, a panoramic pass surrounded by greenery that precedes the spectacular descent towards the sea. The adventure culminates with the triumphant arrival in Sanremo, where the blue of the Mediterranean will welcome the participants in the splendid setting of the Riviera dei Fiori.

La HAT Pavia-San Remo It is an event that takes inspiration from the famous HAT Sanremo-Sestriere, sharing its spirit and philosophy: push the limits and broaden the horizons of adventourhing. An event designed to give unforgettable emotions through a journey that combines adventure, technique and discovery.

With the new departure from Voghera, the route winds through the rolling hills of Oltrepò Pavese, then heads south-east, crossing the border between Lombardy and Piedmont and continuing towards Tortona. Here the landscapes begin to change: the first reliefs of theLigurian-Piedmontese Apennines they announce a more wooded and mountainous territory, ideal for those who love driving immersed in nature.

To cortemilia, in the heart ofAlta Langa, you enter a kingdom of steep hills, forest paths and single tracks usually used by farmers. The scenic roads offer spectacular views, making every kilometer an unforgettable experience.

After Overnight stop in Cairo Montenotte, the journey continues towards Altar, where the long dirt road of the St. James's glue leads the pilots towards garessio. From there, a mandatory passage on the majestic Nava Hill anticipates the descent towards the sea and the triumphal arrival at Sanremo, with the scent of the coast accompanying the last few kilometres.

Each participant is free to choose how to experience the adventure, following the tracks provided and the directions of the organization. The choice of the route and its execution are entrusted entirely to the guide, creating a unique experience that combines freedom, discovery and personal commitment.
For this edition 2025 the number of participants is limited to a maximum of 300 pilots.

CATEGORIES HAT: CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE

CATEGORY DISCOVERY
La Discovery It is the ideal category for those who wish to approach the world of HAT and immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of the Adven journeytouring.

With a duration of two days and a path of about 390 kilometers, offers an immersive experience in nature, combining adventure and discovery in a format accessible to all. You can participate both individually and in a group, sharing the emotion of the challenge in company.

Il first day follows a similar path to that of the Classic, but avoiding the most challenging sections, arriving at Cairo Montenotte in the afternoon. The restart of Sunday morning It develops on a combination of sections of the route Classic and a dedicated route, designed to ensure a pleasant and varied experience.

Along the way, the pilots will be able to count on logistic support, health care e refreshment points, to experience the adventure in total safety and serenity.

La Discovery it is not just a path, but an invitation to enter the world of HAT and to experience the magic of the adventouring in an accessible and unforgettable format.

CATEGORY CLASSIC
La Classic represents the essence of HAT: a traditional category, dedicated to already expert motorcyclists, with more challenging sections but perfectly suited to maxi enduro.

An intense experience of two days, during which participants will travel approximately 450 kilometers, exploring some of the most suggestive places in the area. The route includes technical sections in Alta Langa, offering an exciting challenge and breathtaking views. You can participate both individually and in groups, to share every moment of this great adventure.

CATEGORY MASTER CHALLENGE
La Master Challenge It is reserved for those who want to experience a unique adventure, facing an authentic and demanding challenge, alone, (in a group only for those who prefer to share the experience with a friend; however, the departure remains individual and the scores, as well as the certificate, are assigned on a personal level, Teams are not foreseen). An experience that tests your driving and navigation skills on technical and new routes, always in safety thanks to the assistance of the organization.

To participate, the following is required: participation in at least one previous edition of the HAT, a distinctive sign for those who have already experienced the spirit of the adventouring.

With a track of over 450 kilometers, the Master Challenge offers routes unpublished and challenging, differentiated from the main track. The first stage on Saturday includes an exclusive test on a reserved field of enduro, while the second stage, on Sunday, winds towards the Nava Hill and ends with the arrival at Sanremo.

After the extraordinary success of its first edition, the HAT Master Challenge returns in 2025 for a new challenge that will test the most expert and passionate motorcyclists.

  3. Enduro Park Challenges: Technique and Determination
    Overcome obstacles, tight turns and challenging sections in the technical courses of the Enduro Park. Each challenge won will bring you one step closer to the title, with Tokens awarded for your performance.

With only 40 places available, this adventure is reserved for the most experienced and determined pilots. Prove your worth, accumulate the necessary Tokens and aim for the title of Master of Adventourhing.

THE FORMULA:
The new edition of the Master Challenge introduces a number of unique features:

  • Time controls on passage and secrets.
  • Routes to travel without GPS.
  • Navigation and regularity challenges.
  • Test on Enduro Park, reserved exclusively for participants.
  • Maximum number of participants: 40.

REGULATION MASTER CHALLENGE
The present Rules applies to the category MASTER CHALLENGE and must be respected by all participants.

FIND TRACK
In the sectors Find Track, the route is not visible on the main GPS track. Participants must reach the WAYPOINT FIND TRACK (WPFT) in progressive numerical order, using the provided GPX file and your GPS instrument, device or application.

  • Waypoint Validation: For each waypoint (WPFT) reached and validated, a 1 tokens.
  • Prohibition of recovering lost Waypoints: For safety reasons, it is strictly forbidden to proceed in the opposite direction to recover lost waypoints after reaching the next one.

GATE (TIME SECTORS)
I Gate These are specific areas of the route where participants' times are precisely measured.

  • Stretch to be covered: Each Gate is defined by a starting point (Start gate) and a point of arrival (End gate). These details are indicated in the table provided at the time of registration.
  • Establish time: Each section has a minimum and maximum time limit within which the participant must complete the route, indicated in the table.
  • Tolerance: A tolerance of 100% is applied to the times indicated. ±5 minutes. In case of adverse weather conditions, the Technical Management may increase the maximum time by a further 10 min.
  • Token Assignment: For each Gate completed within the established time, you will be awarded 5 tokens.

SECRET CHECKPOINTS
Along the main track there are some Secret Check Points to monitor the transit of participants.

  • Waypoint Validation: Each validated waypoint will guarantee 1 tokens.
  • Validation area: Each waypoint has a circular validation area with a radius of 100 meters. Transiting within this area is required to validate the waypoint.

TRACKING SYSTEM (TRACKER)
The tracking system via Tracker It is essential for the validation of Waypoints and Gates.

  • Full speed: To validate a Waypoint or a Gate, the participant's speed must not exceed 20 km/h during the passage.
  • Time Recording: The arrival time in the selective sectors is automatically recorded via the “flying passage” tracker. It is not necessary to stop, but only to respect the indicated speed.

CERTIFICATE OF MASTER OF ADVENTOURING
The certificate of Master of Adventourhing will be awarded to participants who have respected all the criteria of the regulation and accumulated the minimum number of tokens required by the organization.

For this edition of the HAT Pavia-San Remo and for all other events HAT SERIES, it will be possible to rent a motorbike, making the experience even more accessible and customizable.

To ensure maximum safety during events HAT Series, in 2025 we will adopt a new tracking software, already used in international competitions.

Thanks to this innovation, we can also better manage the category Challenge, with fast data processing and will enable us to deliver the 100% stamp and title of Master of Adventourhing directly upon arrival, offering the immediate and most satisfying service

We have decided to continue using a tracking system via dedicated trackers rather than a smartphone application. This choice is based on several advantages:

  • Superior reliability: Trackers are designed to ensure optimal functioning, minimizing the risk of device-related malfunctions.
  • Energy saving: Using a smartphone app would result in increased battery consumption of the participant's personal device, increasing the risk of interruptions in tracking.
  • Guaranteed safety: Trackers provide consistent location tracking accuracy, which is critical for events of this magnitude.

OUR STAFF: THE FORCE BEHIND PAVIA-SANREMO

  • To ensure maximum safety and the success of the event, the route will be covered by a highly organized health care network, composed of Croce Verde teams, doctors, nurses and logistics personnel operating on 4×4 vehicles and motorcycles.
  • Behind the success of Pavia-Sanremo is an extraordinary team of 25 people, who work tirelessly to ensure that every aspect, from security to logistics, runs smoothly.
  • A crucial role is played by our Technical Management, composed of a dedicated team of six professionals.
    This team coordinates all activities, from setting up the Village to the event itself. During the event, the team constantly monitors participants' trackers, manages SOS calls and responds promptly to requests for clarification or assistance. Furthermore, it effectively coordinates all rescue and logistical resources, ensuring timely and organized intervention in case of emergencies.

  • Each participant must provide the necessary equipment to replace the inner tubes and, if necessary, repair the tubeless tires of their vehicle.
  • Appropriate clothing for off-road driving (boots, protection, etc.) and for possible climatic changes is essential.
  • For safety reasons, the presence of the passenger is not possible.

The registration fee is only intended to reimburse expenses for the organization of the event, such as; registration to the association, preparation of refreshment points, health care, doctors and Croce Verde, rental of equipment for tracking participants, preparation of starting and finishing points, advertising material for the event (shirts, gadgets, etc.).

In the event of adverse weather conditions, the Organization may decide to change the program of the event both before the start and during its execution.

In the opinion of the Organization, in the event of changes related to new legislative provisions regulating access and transit on the possible routes, the event may undergo changes to the program both before the start of the same and during its progress.

Such changes will not be grounds for members to request any type of compensation for the participation fee or part of it.

INTERMEDIATE STAGE – CAIRO MONTENOTTE (SV)
All participants will conclude the first day at Cairo Montenotte, where a typical Piedmontese dinner will be organised to celebrate the end of the stage.

OVERNIGHT STAY
Saturday night accommodation is at the expense of the participants. Given the touristic nature of the area, it is advisable to book well in advance.

The organization reserves the right to modify the program for logistical or safety reasons..

Hotel accommodation in the city is limited; we recommend considering the many B&Bs available. There are also several hotels nearby, some of which are located near the Maginot Line enduro camp.

PARTICIPATION
  • CLASSIC: Participation is permitted both individually that in groups of 2-5 participants
  • DISCOVERY: Participation is permitted both individually that in groups of 2-5 participants
  • CHALLENGE:
    Participation is permitted exclusively to pilots who have already taken part in at least one edition of the HAT. The departure is individual, but those who wish can share the experience by traveling in a group with a friend. However, it should be noted that the departure remains individual, the scores and the certificate are assigned at a personal level, teams are not foreseen.
 STARTING ORDER
  • For categories DISCOVERY / CLASSIC / participation in group the starting order will be assigned based on the registration date following the “first come, first served” principle. Pay the registration fee immediately (full group) to secure a position of advantage!
  • For categories DISCOVERY / CLASSIC (single participation) and CHALLENGE, the starting order will be determined by the date of payment of the participation fee:
  • Anyone who is not present at their starting turn will start at the end of the last group.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS – ALLOWED MOTORCYCLES
  • Type: Multi-cylinder on- and off-road motorcycles and non-specialist single-cylinder motorcycles.
  • Weight: Higher than 150 kg.
  • Lighting system: In perfect working order.
  • Compliance: Motorcycles must comply with the regulations of the Highway Code.
  • The organization reserves the right to exclude, for safety reasons, motorcycles that do not comply with the requirements suitable for the Adven tourism disciplinetouring and use on natural roads, including the fitting of tyres not suitable for off-roading.roadParticipants are advised to check that their vehicle complies with the characteristics required to safely tackle the route.

  • For the scooter, there is no weight limit, but they must be properly prepared and have an engine capacity greater than 125cc.
REGISTRATIONS Voghera (PV)
  • Registrations will take place exclusively on Friday afternoon a Voghera Courtyard of the former cavalry barracks on the library side 12: 00 to 18: 00.
  • Punctuality: Maximum punctuality is required.
  • Units: All members of the group must show up together. The presence of only one member is accepted (but not recommended), who will be responsible for delivering and collecting the documentation for the entire group.
  • Welcome Shopper
    Upon registration, after having delivered all the required documents, each participant will receive a shopping bag welcome containing:

Requested documents:

GPS POSITION TRACKING SYSTEM
  • Tracker delivery: The tracker will be delivered upon registration.
  • Deposit: Requires a security deposit of € 100 to be paid in cash.
  • Refund of deposit: The deposit will be returned to Sanremo upon return of the device.

In case of non-return:

  • The tracker must be sent to the organization, with the sender paying the costs.
  • In case of loss, damage o failure to return, the deposit will be retained as compensation.

GENERAL INFORMATIONS

  • The event takes place under the aegis of AICS – Italian Association of Sport Culture, under the patronage of the Regions Lombardy, Piedmont and Liguria.
  • The departure will take place from the city of Voghera (PV), with an intermediate stop at Cairo Montenotte (SV) and the arrival to Sanremo (IM) for all categories.
  • Saturday Overnight: Participants stay overnight in the Cairo Montenotte area (at participant's expense).
  • Return logistics: Participants with vans or trailers must organize their own return. The distance between Voghera and Sanremo is approximately 250 km on asphalt road.
  • Refreshments: Participants will have to hand in the ticket to receive the drink

MEMBERSHIP AND INSURANCE
By subscribing to Over2000riders + AICS, participants have access to the insurance policies provided for the event. Details can be found on the official AICS website: http://motociclismo.aics.it/.

PROGRAM AND GPS TRACKS
  • By the 01/06/2025, regularly registered participants will receive via email Detailed plan: with addresses, opening hours and other useful information.
  • By the 05/06/2025, regularly registered participants will receive via email Track in GPX format: route, variants, refreshment points.

  • For the category Master Challenge, the GPX track containing the Waypoints of the hourly and secret control points and the sections with interrupted track will be sent by email on the morning of departure.
  • Instructor Support HAT ACADEMY for uploading tracks and resolving any issues.
BEHAVIOUR OF PARTICIPANTS
Participants are required to:
  • Proceed at reduced speed in built-up areas and near refreshment points.
  • Avoid making disturbing noises and turn off engines during stops.
  • Maintain respectful behavior, using common sense.

After verification by the technical staff of the routes recorded by the tracker, the following will be delivered:

To the participants of the categories Discovery e Classic who have completed the entire route respecting the secret checkpoints will be awarded the 100% stamp MARATHON PRIZE.

MASTER OF ADVENTOURING
The participants in the Master Challenge who respect all the time and secret checkpoints, and reach the required score, will receive the certificate of MASTER OF ADVENTOURING.

The organizers reserve the right to send the stamp and certificate after the conclusion of the event, in digital format. 

SECURITY
  • During the event, the location tracking service will be active via “Tracker – GSM”, equipped with SOS button with automatic sending of the position.
  • The system, provided by a specialized external company, will be managed by our Technical Service operating continuously for the entire duration of the event.
  • Categories: Discovery, Classic: single participation and Master Challenge: Individual tracker.
  • Categories: Discovery, Classic: group participation one tracker for each team composed of 2 to 5 participants.
  • Bail Tracker: € 100 to be paid in cash, which will be returned to Sanremo upon return of the device. In case of failure to return, the tracker must be sent back to the organization at the sender's expense. In case of loss, damage or failure to return, the deposit will be retained as compensation.
GPS TRACKS

The tracks in GPX format are the property of OVER2000RIDERS and their disclosure to third parties or publication on the Internet is strictly prohibited. Any violation will result in the permanent exclusion of those responsible from future events organized by the association.

  • Some itineraries are authorized exclusively for the event and their use outside this context could result in sanctions.
  • This measure is taken to ensure compliance with local regulations and preserve the values ​​of the association.
AUTHORIZATION FOR THE PROCESSING OF IMAGES

Each participant acknowledges that his/her participation in the event authorizes the Organization and its assignees or other qualified parties to capture and store, on any medium and by any means, to reproduce and subsequently represent, without compensation, his/her name and surname, voice, image, biography and more generally, his/her performances in the event, as well as the trademarks of the equipment manufacturers and sponsors in any form on any existing or future means of communication, in any format, for any communication to the public throughout the world, for any use including advertising and/or commercial use and without any other limitations than those indicated below.
The Organization or other qualified subjects may exploit the still or audiovisual images of the event for any use other than advertising and/or commercial purposes and the promotion of the Event is not considered as a commercial exploitation for the period of protection currently granted to these types of use.
The Organization will not use or authorize the use of an individual participant's image in the context of the marketing of derivative products, known as merchandising, without the express authorization of the participant himself.
