Last weekend HAT SERIES started its season with the second edition of theHAT Adventourfest of Bobbio (PC) where many motorcycle adventure tourism enthusiasts have arrived.
It is well known that Bobbio is a favorite destination for motorcyclists, both on the road and off-road, but it also has the fame and title of Borgo among the Most Beautiful in Italy with its very ancient origins still clearly visible in its splendid historic center. The combination of motorcycles and tourism finds a special favor in Bobbio and the result can only be positive.
A beautiful sun always accompanied the event and therefore favored the success of the test-rides of the 7 official manufacturers present which, we recall, were KTM, Husqvarna, Honda, Suzuki, Triumph, Moto Morini and Harley-Davidson present with around seventy motorcycles for the test-rides.

The (free) trial slots were quickly filled and many homes were booked out by mid-day. In the end, divided equally between the two days, the final result is close to 1.400 test rides realized which is a real record for the demonstrations Adventourfest. In general, the public response was massive and, despite not having controls at the entrances, we can speak of thousands of people attending this edition.

In addition to the test rides, which are the driving force of the event, other activities enlivened the weekend in the magnificent setting of the Val Trebbia hills.
The HAT village It was filled with numerous stands (about thirty in total) from both the circuit's partners HAT SERIES, starting from the new ones such as REALE MUTUA ASSICURAZIONI, INTERPHONE and MYTECH, as well as the “historical” GARMIN, SW MOTECH, ENDURISTAN and MBE.
Of absolute importance is also the array of motorcycle clothing and accessories companies, starting with DAINESE, CLOVER, ACERBIS, TUR, STADLER, WUNDERLICH, MOSKO MOTO, KRYO, OVER2000RIDERS, etc.
Of note is the presence of the Guareschi Corse Aprilia Racing team with the Aprilia Tuareg 660 official by Jacopo Cerutti, revelation of the first race of the Italian Motorally Championship.

The new one made its debut HAT BOOTCAMP, the space dedicated to the world of adventure, to its protagonists, to its stories, to its companies and their products. A place to explain, communicate, teach, share and to make culture of the world of adventouring. A structure with approximately 50 seats, equipped with a large LED wall, a meeting point for the public with the world of adventure tourism, a new attraction to create moments of interest for participants in the Adventourfest.
In Bobbio they had the opportunity to talk about their Dakar experiences and not the "racing couple" Maurizio Gerini and Francesca Gasperi, companions in life and in competitions, who told anecdotes and the "behind the scenes" of their African competitions. Then Paolo Cattaneo, KTM ambassador, and Monica Ledda, courageous solo traveler, entertained the audience with stories and images of their exceptional journeys of thousands of km to distant lands, with the message that often the realization of dreams is only the fruit of our determination.

Finally, there was a great increase in participation in the two tour venues organized by OVER2000RIDERS.
Il Tour of the 4 Regions, adven tourtouring of about 130 km with off-road sections, saw the departure of 4 groups of 12 pilots led by the guides of Over2000riders, While the Bitumenduro 200, path with a new formula called Discovering of 200 km on minor asphalted roads to discover intimate and little-frequented places, in its first edition has already seen about fifteen motorcyclists who will be considered pioneers of this new discipline in the future.

The HAT Adventourfest di Bobbio 2023 was a great success and is becoming an unmissable opportunity for motorcyclists who want to be active protagonists for a whole day close to the products of the world of adventure tourism.
