The philosophy of “leaving the main roads”
The philosophy of “getting off the beaten track” comes to fruition when you choose less traveled routes, far from the traditional routes. These roads, often overlooked by sports driving enthusiasts, are narrow, winding and rarely visited, except by locals. They wind through the hills, far from the main valleys, offering unexpected and unknown views.
To better align our offer with the format HAT and avoid possible misunderstandings related to the name “Bitumenduro”, born from an idea of the late Nanni Tamiatto and developed together with Paolo Conta, who today continues to be part of the staff as creator of the routes and travel timetables.
Being the brand HAT mainly associated with off-road events, could be misleading, so we decided to rename this road-only category to HAT ROAD. This new name integrates with the other brands of the HAT Series, as HAT MARATHON, HAT ADVENTOURFEST, HAT LEGEND and HAT TRAVEL EXPERIENCE, offering a full range of experiences for motorcycle enthusiasts.
DISCOVERING
The new discipline of Discovering (discovery), closely related to Adventouring, aims to offer a unique experience, where exploration and curiosity become the heart of the adventure. It is not just about traveling different roads, but about embracing a new approach to motorcycle travel, made of continuous discovery and authentic contact with the places crossed. The Discovering is the opportunity to experience motorcycling as a personal journey, where every curve reveals something unexpected, and every route becomes an experience to remember.
